If you are thinking about driving, there will be a bus chartered for CWL sisters leaving from Kamloops. More information on the bus can be found here and further information about the convention to be released in the coming weeks.

Please note that our March 24th meeting will begin at 7pm in the portable.
Our council is collecting items for the children’s play room at Eva’s House (a local transition house for women fleeing abuse). Please bring along any gently used or new toys, games, puzzles, books and arts/crafts supplies that you wish to donate.

Last month, we welcomed newest members Mary C. and Jane T. Welcome Kits have been prepared for all new members by Diane Aloysius. We are pleased that our membership is growing and look forward to a successful year with God’s help and the guidance of our Our Lady of Good Counsel.
The Archdiocese will be holding workshops that will cover topics such as will preparation, power of attorney, advance care planning, cemetery selection and funeral/burial instructions. A workshop in Coquitlam will be held on Tuesday, March 24th at St. Clare of Assisi Parish at 7pm. No investment services or insurance will be promoted or sold at this workshop. Please note that the January 24th Vancouver Archdiocesan CWL meeting will now be held at St. Peter’s parish in New Westminster at 330 Royal Avenue. Parking is available along 4th street. Mass begins at 9 am followed by the meeting.
